PLACEHOLDER STORY. Out early before the beach filled up — just the boats on the water and the tide still going out.
Nothing loud all morning, then one soft repeatable signal a few feet from the waterline. Shallow scoop, no digging tool needed.
Rinsed it in the next wave that came in. Small find, good excuse to be up at sunrise either way.
