Coin out of a jungle creek bed, waders full and worth it

PLACEHOLDER STORY. Followed the creek in from the trailhead rather than working the open ground — the water pools slow-moving objects the same way a hedge line does on land.

Mask and snorkel more than the machine, honestly. Faint signal wedged between two rocks, visible once the silt settled.

Cold, slow, and worth every step back to the car soaking wet.

Prototype — nothing is saved.

Creek beds are underrated. Everyone works the field next to them and skips the water.

Snorkel and detector combo is now on my list for the next trip.
