Warranty Information

At Quest Metal Detectors, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. We offer different warranty periods for various product categories to ensure that you have peace of mind when shopping with us.

Search Coils:

  • Search coils are covered by a 2-year warranty.

  • Users must ensure that the search coil is protected by a coil cover during normal usage.

Control Boxes:

  • Q35, V80, and V60 control boxes are covered by a 5-year warranty.

  • X5, X10, and X1 control boxes are covered by a 2-year warranty.

Scuba Tector Mini Metal Detector Series and Xpointer Pinpointers Series:

  • Both series are covered by a generous 5-year warranty.

Water Damage:

  • Please note that water damage to any of our detectors caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty.

  • In such cases, repair or replacement will be subject to a charge based on the extent of the damage.

General Terms:

  • For all other components and aspects of our metal detectors, we offer standard warranty terms commonly found in the electronics industry.

  • Our warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • The warranty period begins from the date of purchase.

  • If you believe your product is covered under warranty due to a manufacturing defect, please contact our customer support team promptly.

  • Warranty claims may require proof of purchase or product registration, so please retain your purchase receipt.
