QUEST Metal Detectors to the Rescue! WWII POW Dog Tag Found in Poland, Returned to Family After 80 Years!

History sometimes lies buried beneath our feet, waiting for the moment it's discovered. At the site of a former POW camp in Bogusze, Poland, metal detecting enthusiast Jaćwież used a QUEST Metal Detector to unearth a World War II Italian soldier's dog tag. This identification tag, spanning eighty years, has now been returned to his family.

The dog tag belonged to Giulio Comincioli, an Italian soldier captured by German forces during WWII. The discoverer, stated that this was the twelfth dog tag they had found at the site. The high sensitivity of the QUEST Metal Detector helped the team precisely locate this invaluable historical artifact in a complex environment.

For Comincioli's family, this dog tag is not merely a testament to their grandfather's wartime experiences, but a piece of family memory that has finally been completed.

Technological advancements offer us the chance to reconnect the past and the present, and QUEST detectors are a crucial tool in this process. They not only help recover history but also allow stories buried by time to continue.
