Delete your One Quest account

How to request deletion of your shared QUEST account and Club content, including when you cannot sign in.

One Quest and the QUEST website use the same account system. Account deletion affects that shared account. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not request account deletion.

Release notice: The full Club-content deletion policy below is for the updated One Quest release. Older app versions may not yet offer Delete account or may still describe anonymous retention of posts. If this applies to your version, use the support request below before proceeding.

Request deletion in the app

  1. Open One Quest and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Club → Account.
  3. Select Delete account, read the confirmation and confirm deletion.

The in-app option is available in supported app versions. If it is missing or you cannot sign in, you can still request deletion by email.

Request deletion without signing in

Email info@questmetaldetectors.com with the subject One Quest account deletion request. Identify the email address used for your QUEST account and say that you want the account and its Club content deleted. If possible, send the request from that email address.

If you no longer have access to that email address, explain this in your request. We will help verify ownership before deleting an account. Do not send your password, sign-in codes or payment card details. This is a support request, not an immediate deletion button. We process verified requests within a reasonable time and will explain any necessary verification or records we must retain.

What is deleted

Under the updated deletion policy, deletion removes:

Your login identity is irreversibly disabled, its email address is obscured and all sessions are invalidated. You cannot restore access to the deleted account.

What is retained and why

Website order, device and warranty records are retained where required for legal recordkeeping and for purchase, service and warranty responsibilities. Account deletion does not erase these records. We will explain any retention that applies to your request.

Private Logs and routes, where available, are stored on your device and are separate from server-side account deletion. Remove them using local Log controls or by removing the app's local data. Their availability differs by platform and app version.

Read the Privacy Policy for account, community, AI translation and local-data information.
