What is Discrimination?
Discrimination chooses which Target ID ranges are allowed to make sound. It masks unwanted metal IDs so you hear more of the targets you actually want.
1All metal mode
Every Target ID is accepted. Maximum information, but iron and trash signals come through too.
2Poor discrimination
The mask is too aggressive. Trash is quieter, but a desirable high-ID target is accidentally silenced.
3Smart discrimination
Only unwanted ID zones are masked. Coins and silver stay open, clear, and audible.
